Clifton Charlie Davis

  Funeral services for Mr. Clifton Charlie Davis, 76, of Florien,
were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26, at the Prospect Methodist
Church. Interment followed in the Florien Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. J. C. Skinner, and
Rev. Mack Brister officiated the services.

  Mr. Davis passed away at the Sabine Medical Center in Many,
Tuesday, Oct. 23.

  He is survived by his wife, Georgia Davis of Florien; one son,
Henry Lee Davis of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Lou Ann Wuertz of
Florien; one sister, Trudie Corley of Florien; one brother, J. C.
Davis of Florien; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

  Mr. Davis is a past Master of the Florien Lodge #263, 32 Degree
Mason, Knights Templer, El Karuba Shriner, Charter Member of
Florien Lions Club, and member of La. Peace Officers Association.

  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Masonic
children's Home, or Kidney Foundation.
