Joe Davis

  Funeral services for Joe Davis, 79, were held at 1 p.m.,
Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel.

  Father William Carey officiated. Burial was at Forest Park West
Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Funeral Home.

  Mr. Davis died at 4:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 26, at Schumpert
Medical Center.

  He was preceded in death by two sons, Gene, and Charles Davis;
and grandson, Mike Davis.

  Survivors are his wife, Margie C. Davis of Shreveport; two sons,
Bobby Davis of Keithville, and George Davis of Many; one
daughter, Dianne Davis of Shreveport; half brother, Leroy Davis
of Houston; four grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Steve Davis, Lee Davis, Delane Jennings, B.A.
Cummings, Charles O'Keefe, and Bill Koss.
