Services for Mr. William Arthur Davis, 78, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 15, 1993, at St. Pius X Catholic Church. An additional service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 15, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Many, La. Officiating was Msgr. Norman Buvens, pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial was at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Many, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. Mr. Davis died March 11, in Shreveport, after a long illness. He was a native of Many, a former resident of Rodessa, La., and a resident of Shreveport for 32 years. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Willie and Lucy Davis; one sister, Lucille Davis; and one brother, Louis Davis. He is survived by his wife, Eudolie Davis of Shreveport, La.; three sons, David A. Davis of Metairie, La., John D. Davis of Plainfield, Illinois, and Anthony E. Davis of Dallas, Tex.; two daughters, Mary Beth Davis, and Cathy Davis Baker, both of Shreveport; three sisters, Beatrice Trammel, and Alice Mae Foster, both of Many, Marguerite Lecroy of Houston, Tex.; two brothers, James H. Davis of Atlanta, La., and Murry Davis of Lake Charles; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Mark Davis, Johnny Davis, Scott Davis, Will Davis, Brian Davis, Andrew Baker, John P. Bellett, and Hall Wilbanks.
