Mrs. Jennie Davis

  Mrs. Jennie Davis, 95, passed away on June 12, at her residence
in Belmont, La.

  Surviving relatives include two sons, A. R. Davis of Belmont,
La., and Fred Davis of Houma, La.; one daughter, Mary Alice
Sheets of Hummells Town, Pa.; ten grandchildren; and numerous
great grandchildren.

  Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Enoch Davis;
and one son, Hermon Davis.

  Mrs. Davis was born on July 22, 1898, in Sabine Parish, to Alex
Wyatt and Alice Moore Wyatt.

  Services will be held on Wednesday, June 15, at 2:00 p.m., at
Old Pisgah Baptist Church. Interment will be at Belmont Cemetery.
Officiating will be Rev. Guy Burr, Rev. Hall, and Rev. Benny
Quitman.

  Visitation started at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday afternoon, at the Old
Pisgah Baptist Church.
