William Samuel Davies

  Funeral services for William (Papa Sam) Samuel Davies, 87, were
held Wednesday, March 13, 1996, at 4:30 p.m., at Warren Meadows
Chapel, with interment following at the Bona Venture Cemetery in
Savannah, Ga. Officiating was Rev. Bob Spear.

  Mr. Davies died March 11, 1996, at Willis Knighton Hospital in
Shreveport.

  He is survived by two daughters, Linda Schunck, and Sarah A.
Barnes, both of Chicago, Ill.; one sister, Ruby Cole of
Jacksonville, Fla.; ten grandchildren, including Bernard Kezerle,
Anthony Kezerle, and Jason Kezerle, all of Noble; fourteen great
grandchildren; and a niece, Catherine Mann of Noble.

  Any planned memorials are to be made to the Bethsadia Home of
Boys in Savannah, Ga.
