A. P. Davis

  A. P. Davis, 73, of Hornbeck died Thursday, Sept. 14, in Many,
after a short illness.

  Funeral services were conducted Friday, Sept. 15, at the
Hornbeck First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bobby McCullough,
the Rev. T. J. Crosby, and the Rev. J. W. Owens officiating.
Interment was in the Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Edna Mae Lumpkin of
Houston, Tex.; a brother, Barney G. Davis of Gladewater, Tex.;
one sister, Effie Irwin of Corpus Christi, Tex.; seven
grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
