Mrs. Laura Lee Davis

  Mrs. Laura Lee Davis, 79, of Florien, died Dec. 12, in Florien,
after a short illness.

  Funeral services were conducted Dec. 13, at Prospect Methodist
Church, with the Rev. Ed Milam, and the Rev. Avon Cavanaugh
officiating. Interment was in Prospect Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include four sons, Clifton Davis, and J. T. Davis of
Florien, Cecil Davis of Many, and A. G. Davis of Leesville; two
daughters, Mrs. Ella Groves, and Mrs. Trudie Corley, both of
Florien; a half brother, Joshua Lee of Leesville; and a half
sister, Mrs. Nora Clawson of Leesville; 18 grandchildren; and 26
great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Jerry Sones, Kenneth Maines, Gene Tongvis, B.
E. Davis, William Hearron, and L. Stephens.
