Edwin Davis

  Edwin Davis, 46, died in an automobile accident, at Raceland,
Friday, Oct. 8, at ?:45 p.m.

  Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 10, at 2 p.m., in the
Many United Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. Billy White
officiating. Burial in the Florien Cemetery, was under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Louise Davis of Houma; two
daughters, Patricia, and Cathy Davis of Houma; two brothers,
Edward Davis of Silsbee, Tex., and Roland Davis of Many; three
sisters, Mrs. Gerald Butler of Shreveport, Mrs. Myrtis Barnhill,
and Mrs. Julian Byrd of Many; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cap
Davis of Many.

  Pallbearers were Ancil DeLatin, Lester Veuleman, E. R. Maines,
J. P. Rains, Benny Salter, and Harris Callens.
