Mrs. James H. Davis

  Mrs. James H. Davis, 89, of Pleasant Hill, died on Friday, Sept.
28, at 3:17 a.m., after an extended illness.

  Mrs. Davis is survived by a sister, Mrs. Miranda Martin of
Mansfield; a step daughter, Mrs. W. T. Alexander of Miami
Springs, Fla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held at the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel
on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Jim Constable, and
Tom Guillory officiating. Burial was at the Old Town Cemetery,
near Pleasant Hill.

  Pallbearers were S. D. Armour, Robert Armour, Kenneth Walker,
Herman Gentry, Gary Peace, and G. A. Beasley.
