Funeral services were held Wednesday, in the First Baptist Church of Many, with the Rev. Perry Lassiter officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Herman Cemetery near Center, Tex. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Kenna Pat of Many; two sons, Ken David, and Michael Rudd, both of Many; her parents, Bryan Rudd of Center, and Mrs. Gladys Brown of Shreveport; and a brother, James Rudd of Center. Many Chief of Police Alfice Brumley said her children apparently heard a noise in the bedroom, and went to Mrs. Mary Abington's house and told her. Mrs. Abington notified officers and other neighbors. Mrs. DuBose's body was found in the bedroom's walk-in closet. Officer Elwin Patterson, and Deputy Coroner V. M. John investigated.
