Dubose, age 74, who died Feb. 2, were conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 5, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, with Rev. Earl Marr officiating, assisted by Rev. Henry Pickett. Interment was in the church cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Marlin Westbrook, Wyatt Westbrook, Clifton Davis, Homer Jordan, Roy Skinner, and David Young. Survivors are her husband, Steve Dubose of Florien; sons, Jackson P. of Vidor, Tex., Marvin B. of Sumpter, S. C., Fred of the USAF in France, Neil E. of Torrance, Calif.; daughters, Mrs. Harry Laurent of Merryville, Mrs. Marion Painter of Sparkanburg, S. C.; brother, M. L. Corley of Zwolle; sisters, Mrs. Alice Lofton of Hornbeck, Mrs. Della Lynn of Dilley, Tex., Mrs. Bill Leatherwood of Nederland, Tex., Mrs. Dora Sharp of Florien; and 21 grandchildren.
