Davison, 70, of Montgomery, died in Many, Feb. 23, at 6:35 p.m., after a short illness. Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m., at the Union Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. C. W. Jones officiating, assisted by the Rev. Jerry Hezz, and the Rev. Rod Smith. Burial was in the Union Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Dollie Mae Davison of Montgomery; one daughter, Mrs. Carol Curtis of Many; granddaughter, Lisa Curtis of Many; one brother, Otis Davison of Pollack; four sisters, Mrs. Linnie Mae Estes, and Mrs. Helen Garner, both of Montgomery, Mrs. Ina Moore, and Mrs. Ruby Tharpe, both of Winnfield, and Mrs. Addie Horn of Ville Platte, La.; step-mother, Mrs. Lyda Davison of Montgomery. The body was taken to the Union Hill Baptist Church at 12 noon on Thursday, Feb. 24, to lie in state until service time on Friday. Masonic Rites were held at the graveside.
