Joshua R. David

  Joshua R. "Nig" David, 72, of Orlando, Florida, died in an
Orlando hospital on Saturday, June 19.

  Mr. David, a native of Barnes, Texas, resided in Many before
moving to Orlando in 1943. He was a mechanic for 27 years, at
Heintzelman Ford. He was also a member of Delaney Street Baptist
Church.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Thelma David of Orlando; two
daughters, Miss Leah David, and Mrs. Virgil (Kay) Lowe, both of
Orlando; his mother, Mrs. Vernetta David of Livingston, Tex.; two
brothers, Sgt. Robert V. David of Livingston, Tex., and E. V.
David of Houston, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Leon Hon of Livingston,
Tex., and Mrs. E. V. Garrett of Elmhurst, Ill.; and two
grandchildren.
