Joseph David

  Last rites for Joseph David, 73, who died at Tahquamenon General
Hospital in Newberry, Mich. Aug. 29, after a short illness, were
conducted at the St. Gregory Church Saturday, Sept. 1, with Rev.
Emil Beyer officiated. Burial was in Forest Home Cemetery in
Newberry, Mich. Mr. David was born in Syria on March 25, 1883. He
went to Newberry, Mich. in 1923, where he was in business for
three years. In 1926, he moved to Many, and opened a dry goods
store, and retired several years ago.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Joe David.
