Callie Davidson

  Services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 27, at the
Southside Chapel of Rose Neath Funeral Home in Shreveport, for
Mrs. Callie Maxey Davidson, 95, of Oil City. Burial was in
Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery.

  The Rev. R. E. Carter, pastor of South Grove United Methodist
Church, officiated.

  Mrs. Davidson died Friday at 4:20 p.m., in Midway Manor Nursing
Home, after a long illness.

  A native of Zwolle, she had lived in Shreveport 25 years. She
was a member of First Methodist Church of Bronson, Tex.

  Survivors include a son, William T. Smith of Bossier City; four
daughters, Mrs. E. M. Mudge, and Mrs. Eva Dunn, both of Dallas,
Tex., Mrs. Lee N. Maxwell of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. W. W. Waters
of Oil City; a brother, Otis Maxey of Lake Charles, and 10
grandchildren.
