The Rev. E. E. Ballard, pastor of the church officiated. Burial was in Providence Cemetery at Springridge, La. Plans were under the direction of Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Mr. Davidson, born in Springridge, La., and a lifelong resident of Shreveport, died at 6:15 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 1983, at Nursecare in Shreveport, after a short illness. He was a retired farmer, and was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War I. He is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Julia Jones, Mrs. Maude Prather, Mrs. Catherine Clinton, and Mrs. Mary Wilson of Shreveport, Mrs. Edna Selman of Gladewater, Texas; three brothers, Alva Davidson of Shreveport, Roy Davidson of Lufkin, Texas, and Jack Davidson of Pleasant Hill, La.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
