The Sabine Index - Rufus Davenport

  20 Dec 1940 - Funeral services for Rufus Davenport, 79, who died
Monday in the home of his cousins, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Gandy, were
held Tuesday.  Burial was in fenders cemetery in charge of
Dennis-Green funeral home with Rev. J. D. Scott officiating.

  Mr. Davenport left no near relatives.  For the past eight years he
had made his home with his cousins, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Gandy.
