The Sabine Index - George J. Dupree 
  
  24 Jul 1959 - Funeral services for George J. Dupree, age 73, who 
died July 17 were conducted at Provencal Baptist church at 4 p.m. 
July 18 with Rev. O. S. Roberts and Rev. E. P. Smith officiating. 
  
  Mr. Dupree resided in Sabine parish for many years. 
  
  Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Amy Dupree, Provencal; sons, 
Curtis of Provencal, R. T. of Bentley, A. J. of Alexandria and 
Paul of Shreveport; daughter, Mrs. Eual Lee Bates of Provencal; 
one sister, Mrs. Vinie Knippers of Magnolia; and one brother, 
Henry Dupree of Many, Rt. 4. Eight grandchildren survive.
