Rev. Allen J. Dupree

  On Jan. 26, 1994, Rev. Allen J. Dupree, 75, passed away at
DeSoto General Hospital in Mansfield.

  Rev. Dupree is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearlie Dupree of
Mansfield; two sons, Allen Dupree Jr., and James Randy Dupree,
both of Provencal; two daughters, Patricia Parker of
Natchitoches, and Linda McGee of Alexandria; one sister, Eula
Bates of Provencal; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and
a host of nieces and nephews.

  He was preceded in death by a grandson, Trevor Parker.

  He was a member of Kisatchie Masonic Lodge #156 at Mt. Carmel,
for 48 years, and he pastored churches in Louisiana and Texas for
47 years. He was a barber for numerous years in Texas and
Louisiana.

  Services were held at Mr. Carmel Baptist Church, with burial at
Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Friday, Jan. 28, 1994, at 2 p.m. The
ministers were Rev. Arnold Nelson, Rev. Bob Miller, and Rev.
Louis Skinner.

  Pallbearers were grandsons.
