Mrs. Amy E. Dupree

  Mrs. Amy E. Dupree, age 78, of Provencal, died April 20, after
an extended illness.

  Surviving include three sons, Curtis Dupree of Provencal, Rev.
A. J. Dupree of Coushatta, and Paul Dupree of New Orleans; one
daughter, Mrs. E. L. Bates of Provencal; one brother, Tom
Hildebrand of Beaumont, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Landrum of
Temple, and Mrs. Bell Curtiss of Many; eight grandchildren; and
six great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held April 20, at Provencal Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Oliver Robert, and the Rev. Walter Worthy
officiating. Interment was in Provencal Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
