Cody DeVore

  Cody DeVore, 62, died Thursday, Aug. 16, in Lutheran General
Hospital, Park Ridge, Chicago. Private funeral services were held
Saturday, Aug. 18, in Morton Grove.

  He was advertising manager of The Lion magazine, and had been
associated with the fraternal order magazine since 1949.

  He was a 1929 graduate of Peason High School, and will be
remembered by his friends and classmates as a very quiet young
man, tending strictly to his own business.

  Surviving are his wife Helen; two sisters, Mrs. Zilla Carbrey,
and Mrs. Sybil Floyd of Albuquerque, New Mexico; several nephews
and nieces.

  Preceding him in death was a brother, Clyde; and a sister, Etha
Lindberg.

  The family requested, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to
Hadley School for the Blind at Winneika, Illinois, or Lutheran
General Hospital Radiation Center, Park Ridge, Illinois,
