(Bo) Dyes Funeral services were held Sunday morning at 11 a.m., for James R. (Bo) Dyes, 20, in the Merryville Pentecost Church. Bro. Draddy was in charge of the services. Dyes died Jul 17, in Houston, Tex., after a brief illness. He was laid to rest in the Meadows Cemetery by Hixon Funeral Home of DeRidder. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ethel Mae Miller; a step-father, J. P. Miller; a sister, Mrs. Marguret Ann Mitchell of Merryville; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lewis of Merryville; his father was the late Robert dyes, formerly of Sabine Parish. Survivors also include three aunts of Sabine Parish, Mrs. R. T. Nesom, Mrs. O. C. Brian, and Mrs. H. Craig, all of Belmont.
