Daniel Dees

  Mr. Daniel Dees, 88, of Ft. Jesup, died Tuesday, May 2, after an
extended illness.

  Funeral services will be held today at 10 a.m., in the Ft. Jesup
Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Burns, the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts,
and the Rev. Earl Marr officiating. Burial will be in the Ft. Jesup
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Dees is survived by his wife, Mrs. Josephine Dees of Many;
three daughters, Mrs. Ollie Marshall, and Mrs. Maybell Jordan of
Shreveport, and Mrs. Audre Colston of Many; one son, James Dees of
Clarence; and one brother, Harrison Dees of Many; 10 grandchildren,
and eight great-grandchildren.
