He was laid to rest at the Spring Ridge cemetery under direction of Drewitt funeral home. He is survived by is wife, Mrs. Fred Dyes; two sons, Virgil of Belmont and Bob of Merryville; three daughters, Mrs. R. T. Nesom, Mrs. Conly Brian and Miss Fannie Belle Dyes, all of Belmont, two sisters, Mesdames O. W. and Ella Lewis, both of Terry, Miss.; one brother, Clarance Dyes, Melrose, Texas; 14 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
