The Sabine Index - Benjamin Frederick Dyes 
  
  24 Sep 1948 - The death of Benjamin Frederick Dyes, or Fred Dyes 
as he was better known, was a his home Tuesday morning, Aug. 24, 
from hear attack. He was laid to rest at the Spring Ridge 
cemetery under direction of Drewitt funeral home. 
  
  He is survived by is wife, Mrs. Fred Dyes; two sons, Virgil of 
Belmont and Bob of Merryville; three daughters, Mrs. R. T. Nesom, 
Mrs. Conly Brian and Miss Fannie Belle Dyes, all of Belmont, two 
sisters, Mesdames O. W. and Ella Lewis, both of Terry, Miss.; one 
brother, Clarance Dyes, Melrose, Texas; 14 grandchildren and a 
host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
