Zed Dyess

  Mr. Zed Dyess, 69, of Many, died Thursday, May 13, at 10 p.m.,
after an extended illness.

  Surviving relatives are his wife, Gladys Dyess of Many; two
sons, Ray, and Hoyt Dyess, both of Many; one brother, Marvin
Dyess of Shreveport; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Cox, and Mrs.
Eldred Irby, both of Marthaville, Mrs. Ola Mae Cobbs of Pleasant
Hill, and Mrs. Ruby Campbell of Tioga, and four grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Springridge Baptist church
Saturday, May 15, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Ben Morrison
officiating. Interment was in the Springridge Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Jimmie Gates, John Brantley, Murry Sherrill,
Virgil Barnhill, Johnnie Brantley, and Huey P. Harper.
