Cleburne W. Quaid, assisted by Rev. A. O. Youngblood. Interment was in Many cemetery under direction Massingill funeral home. Pallbearers were: Elden Dees, Buddy Dees., Doris Dees, W. G. Dees, Avard Sibley and Norman Dees. Surviving relatives include: the widow, Mrs. Iva Dees, Many; son, J. T. Dees, Jr., Many; daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Beasley, Many, Mrs. Athline Ramzinsky, Sweetwater, Texas; brothers, Edd Dees, Many, and Ernest Dees, Vowell's Mill. Mr. Dees spent most of his life in Many and was active in civic affairs having served on the city board of alderman for three four-year terms.
