Mrs. Abbie Dyess

  Mrs. Abbie Dyess, 73, of Joaquin, Tex., died Sunday morning,
June 19, in Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport.

  The funeral was at 2 p.m., in Mangum Funeral Home of Center,
with the Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Burial was in
Brookland Cemetery in Joaquin.

  Survivors include her husband, M. B. Dyess; two sons, James
Dyess of Shreveport, and Marvin Dyess of Garrison; three
daughters, Mrs. Eustis Eversull of Alexandria, La., and Mrs. Leon
Southern, and Mrs. Vernon Adams, both of Shreveport; two
brothers, Herbert Doolittle, and Marshall Doolittle, both of
Robeline; 23 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
