Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Thursday, in the First Baptist Church of Smackover, with Rev. John Burton, and Rev. Ray Wells officiating. Burial followed in the Smackover Cemetery, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of El Dorado. Mrs. Dees is survived by her husband; three daughters, Romona Rogers, and Melba Pickering of Monroe; Margie Kimbell of Mobile, Ala.; two brothers, Willard Mitchell, and E. C. Mitchell, both of Many; four sisters, Mrs. Johnnie Jackson, and Edna Anderson, both of Shreveport, Mrs. Phillip Hanson of Smackover, Mrs. J. J. Dees of Houston, Texas; ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
