The Sabine Index - W. G. Dees

  17 Feb 1956 - Last rites for W. G. Dees, 64, who died in
Shreveport Saturday, Feb. 11 was conducted at Mt. Zion Baptist
church at 2 p.m. Feb. 15 with Rev. John Scott officiating.
Interment was in Mt. Zion cemetery under the direction of Warren
Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors are wife, Mrs. W. G. Dees of Many, sons, Herman Dees
of Lawton, Okla., Harold Dees, of Worland, Wyo., daughters, Mrs.
Arline Webb of Crowley, Mrs. Eliane Bryant of Shreveport, Mrs.
Francis Ray Morau of Shreveport, brothers, A. G. Dees of Many, J.
C. Dees of DeRidder, Erze Dees of Tyler, Alic Dees of Mt.
Pleasant, Texas, sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Knowles of DeRidder and
Mrs. Joe Davis of Many, 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild.

  Pallbearers were: J. T. Dees, Roy Palmer, Eugene Dees,
Bryant Stephson, Wesley Webb and Buddy Dees.
