The funeral was at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 14, in Spring Ridge Baptist Church in Belmont, with the Rev. Floyd McCarthy officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors include one son, Marvin Dyess of Shreveport; four daughters, Margaret Cox, Ruby Campbell, and Mrs. Eldred Irby, all of Robeline, and Ola Mae Cobbs of Pleasant Hill; 19 grandchildren; and 36 great grandchildren.
