Winnie Lites Dees

  Mrs. Winnie Lites Dees, 86, of Many, died in the Virginia Hall
Nursing Home in Shreveport on Oct. 14, at 10 p.m.

  She is survived by two sons, Herman Dees of Many, and William H.
Dees of Warland, Wyo.; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Moreau, and
Mrs. Elaine Bryant of Shreveport; one brother, Ray Lites of Many;
one sister, Vera McWhorter of New Orleans; 13 grandchildren; 26
great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church on
Sunday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Elton Martin
officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Pallbearers were James Lites, Danny Lites, Jimmy Lites, Glenn
Webb, Ralph Webb, and Don Moreau.
