Philip Nolan Dees

  Funeral services for Mr. Philip Nolan Dees, 39, of Florien, were
held at 10 a.m., Thursday, January 4, in the Florien First
Baptist Church. Rev. Mack Brister officiated the service. Burial
followed in the Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Dees passed away at the RHD Memorial Medical Center in
Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday, January 2.

  He is survived by his parents, W. L., and Betty Dees of Florien;
one son, Casey Dees of Minden; one brother, Vick Dees of Monroe;
one sister, Sara Goss of Shreveport; and several nieces and
nephews.
