Gallion Dyess Services for Elma P. Gallion Dyess, 76, were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 24, at the Wellman Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Harris Price of Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will be in Forest Park Cemetery. Mrs. Dyess died Monday, May 21, at P & S Hospital, after a brief illness. She was born January 9, 1914, in Many, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, W. O. Dyess of Shreveport; two sons, James E. Gallion of Bossier City, and Melton S. Gallion of Pasadena, Texas; one step son, Jack W. Dyess of Bossier City; one daughter, Patsy Tims of Austin, Texas; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and three step grandchildren.
