  Joseph E. "Buddy" Dees - May 12, 1988

  Mr. Joseph E. "Buddy" Dees, 66, died at Sabine Medical Center in
Many on May 4, 1988.

  Services were held at Warren Meadows Chapel on May 6 at 2 p.m.
with rev. Joe Ratcliff officiating. Burial was at Many Cemetery
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Dees of Many; one son and
daughter-in-law, William E. and Sandra Dees of New Orleans; two
sisters, Mary Jane Phillips and Marguerite Sanders, both of Many;
two grandsons, Jason and Derek Dees of New Orleans.

  Pallbearers included James Tidwell, Hubert Andries, J. T. Dees,
Larry Fisher, Tommy Joe Andries, Joe Luster and Bill Boone.

  Honorary pallbearers were Benny McNeely, Gene Craig, Larry
Skinner, Bob Robinson, L. B. Skinner, Wiley Cummings and Bert
Smith.
