Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, at Osborn Funeral Home in Shreveport. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Dean, assisted by Rev. David Scott of First United Pentecostal Church of Bossier City, of which she was a member. Burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. Mrs. Margarette Doxey was a native of Nobel, and a resident of Shreveport for 57 years. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church, Bossier City. She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Doxey Branch, wife of O. B. Branch, Margery Doxey, and Margaret Doxey Durr, wife of Sebastian J. Durr; three sisters, Lillie Johnson of Mansfield, Lois Webb of Shreveport, and Bethel Rees of Richardson, Texas; two brothers, Titus Adams of Shreveport, and Leslie Adams of Dallas; two grandchildren, Debra Branch Mills, and Datha Branch Hopkins; and her husband, Ted; three great grandchildren, Joel Mills, Jaron Hopkins, and Analyse Hopkins.
