John T. "Red" Dees, Jr.

  Funeral services for John T. "Red" Dees Jr., 72, of Many, were
held Monday, April 8, at 10 a.m., at Siloam Baptist Church.

  Rev. Gary Allen, and Rev. Frank Ebarb officiated. Burial was in
Siloam Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Mr. Dees passed away on April 6.

  Survivors are his wife, Ernestine Speights Dees of Many; three
daughters, Nancy Wright and husband Rocky of Many, Judy Boyd and
husband Leland of Flower Mound, Tex., and Laura Carter and
husband Jimmy of Natchez, Miss.; one son, John E. Dees of
Ferriday, La.; one sister, Tina Coxe of Many; five
granddaughters, Rachal Wright, Vikke Boyd, Christi Boyd, Rebecca
Boyd, and Ashley Carter; a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were James A. Brumley Jr., Pete Abington, J. S.
Pickett Jr., Norman Knippers, Kevin Remedies, Bob Smith, W. E.,
"Boots" Hayes, and P. B. Colvin.
