G. Dees A.G. Dees, 83, of Many, died Saturday, Dec. 17, in Shreveport, after a short illness. Funeral services were held in the Many First Baptist Church, Monday, Dec. 18, with Dr. Kelly Fitzgerald, and Dr. Cecil Knippers officiating. Burial was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ida Dees of Many; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Whittleset of Kilgore, Tex., Mrs. Fred Powers of Greenville, Tex.; two foster sons, Kenneth Ramsey of Jackson, Miss., A. B. (Bunny) Ramsey of Many; two step daughters, Mrs. Leonard Lewis of Shreveport, Mrs. Herbert Williams of Long Island, N.Y.; three brothers, J. C. Dees of DeRidder, Alex Dees of Many, Mrs. Elizabeth Ramsey of DeRidder; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren; and five step grandchildren. Pallbearers were Howard Anthony, Judge William H. Ponder, Cliff Massingill, Jim Tyler, Hoyt Leach, and J. B. McDonald.
