Rufus B. Dickey Funeral services for the Rev. Rufus Benton Dickey of Hemphill, Tex., were held Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 2 p.m., in the Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill. The Rev. Dickey died at 4:10 p.m., Monday, Sept. 9, in Pineland, Tex. Hospital, after a lengthy illness. He was a minister for 38 years, and was a member of the East Mayfield Baptist Church in Hemphill. Many residents attending the funeral were Mrs. Jim Tyler, and Mrs. Kenneth Colston, also Mr. and Mrs. Hamp Youngblood, Martha Youngblood, Mr. and Mrs. Phinis Lowe, Mrs. Vera Hopkins, Bertie Mae Taylor, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Hopkins, all of Florien.
