J. B. Dyess

  Funeral services for J. B. Dyess, 56, who died suddenly at his
home in Pleasant Hill, Saturday morning, November 21, were held
at 10:30 a.m., Monday, in the Blue Ridge Methodist Church, with
the Rev. Henry Isgitt officiating. Burial was in the Spring Ridge
Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of
Mansfield.

  Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Nerlyn Ruth Dyess of
Pleasant Hill; two sons, Ronald Dean Dyess of Pleasant Hill, and
Jerry Dyess of Corpus Christi, Tex.; his mother, Mrs. Cora Dyess
of Pleasant Hill; four sisters, Mrs. Alma Leggio, and Mrs. Alice
Blankenship, both of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Elmer Rains of
Shreveport, and Mrs. Saunders King of Minden; one brother, Roy
Dyess of Shreveport, La.
