Jack H. Dykes

  Jack Hamilton Dykes, 49, of Pleasant Hill, died in a Shreveport
hospital Friday, Oct. 25, after a brief illness.

  Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, in the Pleasant
Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Vernon Stephenson officiating,
assisted by the Rev. John Dilworth. Burial was in the Pleasant
Hill Cemetery.

  Survivors are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Alvin M. Shuford of
Aberdeen, Scotland; two grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Thomas L. Dykes
of Pleasant Hill; and one brother, Thomas L. Dykes Jr. of Alexandria.
