All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************************************************** ********************************************************** Thomas Lee (Buddy) Dykes Thomas Lee (Buddy) Dykes, Jr., age 80, died on Feb. 11, 2000, in Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, LA, following a brief illness. Jonathan was with him. He was buried by the side of his parents, Tom and Nina, and his brother, Jack, on Feb. 14, 2000, in Pleasant Hill Cemetary with his family and friends in attendance. Buddy is survived by his wife, Gladys Laborde Dykes, of Alexandria; two daughters: Carol Scott of Alexandria, and Susan Warren of Dallas, TX; a son-in-law, Mike Warren of Garland, TX; his grandchildren: Mr. & Mrs. J.T. Scott (Jonathan and Dana) of Prairieville, LA; Jason Scott and his family (Tammy and Treasure) of Shreveport; and Lee Warren of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Lurline Dykes, her daughter and son-in-law, Dick and Jacqueline (Dykes) Shuford, and their three daughters (Amanda, Paula, and Mary) and their families. Buddy was also a member of the Hardee family, too numerous to name individually, but certainly to be included among his survivors.
