  William "Pud" Nelson Dykes - February 25, 1988

  Mr. William "Pud" Nelson Dykes, 75 of Zwolle, died at Schumpert
Medical Center in Shreveport on February 11, 1988.

  Services were held at Warren Meadows Chapel on Feb. 13 at 2 p.m.
with Rev. Mitchell officiating. Burial was at Noble Cemetery
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Mary Craig Dykes of Zwolle; one son,
Donald H. Dykes of Dallas, Tx.; two brothers, Thomas Dykes of
Midland, Tx. and Hugh Dykes of Franklin, La.; two sisters, Odess
Barlish of Shreveport and Laverne Ackal of Oakdale; one
daughter-in-law, Bobbie Dykes; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers included Jody Ferguson, Doyle Eason, Randy Basco,
Jim Graves, Sonny Self, Jackie Craig and Larry Basco.
