L. Dykes Sr. Funeral services for Mrs. D. L. Dykes Sr., 81, who died Tuesday, at the Pleasant Hill General Hospital, after a brief illness, were held at 1:30 p.m., at Drewett Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield, with the Rev. Cecil Salley officiating, assisted by the Rev. E. L. Killingworth, and the Rev. Reuben Harrell. Burial was in the Zion Rest Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Sybil Lord of Sour Lake, Tex.; three sons, Douglas Blair of Las Vegas, Nev., Richard Blair of Mission, Tex., and Ray Blair of Fort worth, Tex.; two stepsons, Dr. D. L. Dykes Jr., and Bobby Dykes, both of Shreveport; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Wade Moffett of Pleasant Hill, and Mrs. Allison Wyatt of Homer; two brothers, J. A. Bowdon of Lubbock, Tex., and Wayman Bowdon of Sulphur.
