Mr. Donald Hubert Dziekan

  Mr. Donald Hubert Dziekan, 79, of Florien, died Friday, February
23, 2001, in Christus St. Patrick.

  Mr. Dziekan was born Feb. 6, 1922, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Frank
Dziekan Sr., and Barbara Rychwalski. He was a veteran, and worked
in quality control.

  Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 26, at 10 a.m., at
Warren Meadows Funeral Home, with interment following at Prospect
Cemetery. The Revs. Daniel Lowe, and Lowell Bell officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Hattie Sandel Dziekan of Florien;
one daughter, Donna Brandon of Holly Springs, N. C.; and three
sons, Larry Dziekan of Lake Charles, Dennis Dziekan of Many, and
Jerome Dziekan of Florien. He is also survived by three sisters,
Audrey McEvoy, and Genevieve Galaszewski, both of Mil, Wis., and
Delores Lawandowski of Milwaukee, Wis.; five grandchildren; three
great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Barbara
Rychwalski Dziekan; and three brothers, Frank Dziekan, Jr.,
George Dziekan, and Paul Dziekan.
