Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m., in the Warren Meadows Chapel, with the Rev. Jack Bell, and the Rev. Lonnie Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Old River Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were George Ray Rachal Jr., Billy Dowden, Charles Dubois, Emmitt Sepulvado, Ernest Hall Jr., Louis Hardman, and Bobby Hatchmon. Survivors are seven daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Jordan of Robeline, Mrs. Maybell Hall, and Mrs. Claudie Brister, both of DeQuincy, Mrs. Essie Dowden of Orange, Tex., Mrs. Lucille Ebarb of Zwolle, Mrs. Viola Dubois of Coushatta; and 27 grandchildren; and 43 great grandchildren.
