Interment followed in Converse Cemetery. Mrs. Doster died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1993, in the Mansfield Nursing Center. She was born in Kingsland, Ark. She had been a resident of Converse for a number of years, before moving to Mansfield. She was a homemaker, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Converse. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Burton Doster; her oldest granddaughter, Peggy Durr; and a grandson, Jimmy Patrick. Surviving Mrs. Doster are her daughter, Joyce Patrick of Mansfield, La.; grandchildren, John Patrick of Pleasant Hill, La., Nell Durr of Mansfield, La., Christy Harville of Natchitoches, La., Carol Yarborough of Natchitoches, La.; ten great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were great grandsons.
