Funeral services for Aubrey Ray Douglas, 66, of Waskom, Tex., were held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 12, 1993, at the First Baptist Church in Waskom, Tex., under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home, Marshall, Texas, with Rev. Jim Walsh officiating. Mr. Douglas died Friday, April 9, 1993, in Shreveport, La., at 9:50 a.m., after an extended illness. He was born April 29, 1926, in Grayson, La., to Edgar Howard Douglas and Ora Lee Parker Douglas. He married Wanda Sue Ingram on April 5, 1947, in Clarks, La. He was a retired Supervisor for Fab Steel Co. in Waskom, Tex., was educated in Mangham, La. public schools, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waskom, Tex. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Carl, Howard, and Stanley; and his sisters, Estelle Stokes, Elsie Finklea, and Mattie Lee Crawford. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Wanda Sue Ingram Douglas of Waskom, Tex.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Ray Douglas of Waskom, Tex., Steven Edward and Tami Douglas of Joplin, Mo., and Phillip Scott and Lisa Lynn Douglas of Waskom, Tex.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa Gail and Randy Shoalmire of Converse, La., and Carolyn and Jodie Fyffe of Karnack; fourteen grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Douglas of Monroe, La., and Mayor Douglas of Waskom, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Irene Myers of Karnack; and a number of nieces and nephews.
