Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17 at Belmont Union Baptist Church with interment following at Friendship Cemetery. The Rev. Vernon Stephenson officiated. Survivors include two sons, Kent Palmer of Many and Kendall Brumley of Lafayette; one daughter, Kristy Brumley of Alexandria; mother and step-father, Faye and Wynn Dees of Many; father and step-mother, Larry and Wanda Dixon of Fort Worth, Texas; paternal grandmother, Fannie Bell Dixon; five sisters, Debbie Moss of Fort Worth, Texas, Tracy Huber of Many, Julie Brown and Mary Dixon, both of Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, Dubba Dees and Wayne Dees, both of Many; one step-sister, Theresa Dees of Dallas, Texas; a special friend, Chris Hills; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
