L. Duggan 27 Mar 1936 - R. L. Duggan, an esteemed pioneer citizen, died suddenly Monday evening. His death was caused by heart attack. Mr. Duggan has been a resident of Sabine parish for many years. He was married to Miss Annie Duggan in 1894, and eight children were born to this union. At the time of his death he was 62 years old. He was a faithful member of the Oak Hill Baptist church and has always been active in the affairs of his community. Interment was held Wednesday morning at the Fenders graveyard by Rev. J. M. Pate. Among the survivors are his wife: eight children, Mrs. R. M. Harper, Converse, Mrs. L. C. Ailstock, Hoyt Duggan, Miss Etoice Duggan, all of Redessa, Mrs. W. C. Wright of Negreet, Mrs. C. F. Ailstock of Longview, Texas, Mrs. O. E. Balthrop, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Bernice Duggan of Many, and one brother, E. E. Duggan of Marietta, Okla.
