All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************************************************** ************************************************************ The Sabine Index - Curtis Dixon 17 Feb 1939 - Early Monday, Feb. 13, Mrs. Dixon Rains received news of the death of her brother, Curtis Dixon, age 56, who died in Memorial hospital in Houston, Texas, after a long illness. Mr. and Mrs. Dixon Rains and son, C. D. and daughter, Mrs. Argerine Taylor, were joined here by a brother, Julius Dixon, of Marthaville and a sister, Mrs. W. H. McDonald, of Winnfield and all went to Houston, where funeral services were held Tuesday. After funeral services the body was carried to Goose Creek, Texas, where the Masons took charge and interment was in the Cedar Bayou cemetery. Mrs. Hicks and Mrs. Quarles are sisters of the deceased.
